Default Preload - FXD

OK..........I see that there is no adjustment on the preload for the rear shocks on my Super Glide.
I'm ok there. The owners manual says 1" down travel when you sit on the bike with full weight.

The rear goes down about 3/4"
The front goes down around 1 1/2"

Is there a preload adjustment on the front forks of the FXD?

I've had my Low Ryder for about 3 months and I am just getting to the point where I scrape stuff in the curves. I do scrape metal when going over parking lot speed bumps. Remember that you are riding a cruiser and not a crotch rocket. If you want to do some ear-oiling you got the wrong bike.

Wrench at the local shop said there are two fixes. Progressive springs of a tighter nature, around 89 bucks.

Or...........do what i did with a motocrosser. Put a spacer in the top over the spring.

I will do the latter. Just have to take one side apart to get the correct ID of the tube.
