Spent many winters in Edmonton in my early days. It is very cold could not even get the car to warm up on a 10 mile trip into work now that's cold.

it gets worse....today I rocked the beach ride, ran errands, and put 150 miles on the scoot... I even came back more tan than when I left....

To the OP, I wish it was 40° here. Then I'd go for a ride. It was 2° this morning. I don't know what the temp is now, but it's snowing and we're under a "winter weather advisory" until 3am tomorrow.

I actually didn't ride my bike in to work today, because we were supposed to get some snow. Probably dumped about 5-6 inches by the time I left work. My normal 40 minute ride home to over an hour and a half - stuck behind a steady line of cars all going 5-10 mph (and my ride is mostly through the boonies, where I don't often see a lot of other cars).
