problem from ridin in rain last night

sure enough - justwent out and popped that PCIII connector and had to be a half oz of water drained - letting it air out and shooting it with compressed air before i head over to shop at lunch for some of that dielectric grease - willelt you guys know if that clearsup the issue.

Dam dude this wether is fukced up its supposed to clear today thru the rest of the weekend...i borrowed my sister in laws car for the last 3 days...im not riding in the rain snow or hail....

hey 07bob, long time no talk - i havent been on here for a while
wish i had that luxury of a sister in law - my OL is tough, i think she likes me ridin in the rain - somethin to do with my life insurance policy I think

Was gonna mention it but you found problem! Might want to wrap the PCIII for the winter in plastic wrap or seal the connection. My FLSTC had a crack in the fuse box (mounted on rear fender under seat) from a rock hit and sucked up water from tire and flooded box touring in Wichita Falls, TX. Had to plastic bag wrap it up for the trip home to save myself another breakdown (fuseboxes are not usual "in stock" items LOL).
