I just bought a month ago a new Fat Bob. My dealer installed the 103" SHO build using all Screaming Eagle parts, except for the D&D Fat Cats.
It makes 42 RWHP more than a stock 96" and 22 ft lb over stock.
i'd like to see that dyno sheet! you'll need major head work to acheive that kind of gain.
better off to go with a reputable indy or site sponsor and use your stock cylinders bored out and porting your stock heads with bigger intake valves.
for less then $4000 i had this done by fairbanks motors and build included se roller rockers/push rods, se clutch spring, 10:5 to 1 wiseco's, woods 7h cams, ported stock heads with bigger intakes. this included all tear down/ assembly and over 4 hrs. on the dyno
109.9/118 on a 07
fatcat exhaust and aftermarket tuner/airfilter and backing plate i already had on my 74.4/90.1 stage 1 setup.
The 103 is efficient and will give you no problems if done correctly. I have over 11000. miles on mine and love it. 89hp and 105ft/lbs of torque. It has low end power which I like and seldom take it over 3200 rpms. It sounds awesome also.
super unleaded with 10% enthanol or without, but it's getting hard to fine. i'm at 10:4 to 1 and no problem tts master tune runs great 38-42 mpg . actually i'm selling the top end and flywheels, got some bigger ones to go on in the next few weeks.
Well I called this afternoon and did find out from the service department at my dealership that is was the big bore SE 103ci. But you all knew that I am sure!
He did confirm his statement from yesterday that the 103 has better performace than the 110ci because of the regulation with emissions.
Herr Monk seems to have a great knowledge of performance builds... he might be able to steer you the right direction to get the most out of your money..

FYI, CNC ported heads ARE somewhat major over stock, as are the 260 cams and the rest of it. Shoot, I got 98RWHP and 115 ft lbs on a puny Yamaha 102" Warrior with no headwork whatsoever ..... but about $3500 worth of engine work.
The engine runs just fine with super unleaded so far.
The 42 HP gain. Harley claims a max 63 RWHP figure on a stock 96" twin cam. With mine at 105HP, that is a 42 HP difference. Spent a wad to get it there.

Stock head parts on left, SE CNC ported head on right

One other thought ...... better off???. I have a 7 year warranty on my worked Harley. The installing dealer informed me they would honor warranty on the bike , but that other HD dealers probably would not. So, better off w/ the fairbanks build?????
