I was leaning towards the PC III anyway, these replies have helped me make up my mind. The bike is parked for the winter, I have to wait for my tax return then I will order the the PC III form Fuelmoto. At least with them you can talk to a real person instead of waiting for e-mail replies form VH.
Put fuel pak on,no problem, have V&H BSS and S/E AC works welll if no other mods.Easy to install excellent support.Need to call and talk to them for assistance not so good responding to e-mail.I had no problems what so ever contacting them on phone and they will answer all questions and help you with any problems.
Have 23, 000 on this 07 low rider with FP,SE AC and BSS.Works well and would use again if no futher mods.
How much does disconnecting the O2 sensors effect lower rpm and cold weather starting with a PC III. That was one of the things about a PC III that turned me off. I really have no intentions of doing any motor work on this bike, and will probably trade it in on a touring model in a couple of years.
only the O2 sensors are disconnected(others remain connected). The bike will start up and high idle till warm like it should. you may not even notice the difference. What can happen ,of course, is the bike can start running a tad rich or lean based upon external conditions. You may notice this while riding or not. I would get the PCIII as it will probably fit your needs well and you should be satisfied with the results when it is properly mapped. I think if you live or ride in areas where you do a lot of elevation changes, you may want to keep your O2 sensors in the loop. the bike will run better in these circumstances when it has the ability to adapt and maintain your AFR on a more constant basis.
My bike ran like crap on the Fuel Pak. I still have it sitting in my Garage, I can't bring myself to sell it knowing it's such a POS
HOGRIDA06...why not sell the FP to David C for cost of shipping and see if it works better in his bike? Maybe you 2 could come to an agreement whereas if the FP performs good in his ride he'd pay such and such an amount for it...just seems like a waste having it sit there.

Yeah that will work. David if your interested send me a PM. I busy the next couple of days but sometime this weekend I'll dig it out and get you the model number and try to take a pic. It's about two years old and has been off the bike since about March of this year.
i have an 07 street bob with a thunderheader and a stage II air cleaner. I have a pcIII and I couldnt be happier. you have to have them professionally tuned, not like with the fuelpac, but the pc III can be fine tuned so that you get every little bit of power out of your bike. the fuel pac is like a bandaid, the pc III is a fix
I just got a VH Pro Pipe BP for my 07 Superglide, and am trying to decide which fuel management systen to go with. Other than the pipe and SE air filter, I am not planing on doing any other engine mods with this bike. Would the fuelpak be ok for these 2 changes? The other thing is that in its stock configureation I notice some pinging from the engine during hard acceleration, should I take it to the stealer and have them reload the stock ECM first before adding a fuel management system or will the Fuelpak or PC III fix this anyway? I like to do all the work on the bike myself and hate having to take in in to have someone else work on it so I am looking for a fuel management system that is easy for DIY mechanic.
I did the same thing... V&H SidesShots with a K&N High Flow air Filter and a V&H FuelPack and the bike runs GREAT. I did have trouble installing the FP due to the area you have to set it up, there are a lot of wires in that area and got frustrated so i took it to a local shop and they installed it for me for $60...
