Default quick question

Last month I found a pcIII at the local dealer 50% off and this morning I found a set of v&h short shots under the tree woohoo. Tomorrow I am gonna order a big sucker ac. My question what all else do I need to do the install I would like to get it done next week on my day off with as little running around as possible. The bike is a 07 street bob. the only things I can think of that I will need is plugs for the 02 bungs and new exhaust gaskets. thanks for the replies in advance.

Sounds like he got the PCIII for 50% off good deal. Sounds like you got your bases covered. The AC is easy, the pipes are easy, you will spend most of your time trying to fit the PCIII into the small area under the seat and behind the relay box.

Probably a given, but spend some time during that week to read the installation info for the PCIII and the exhaust. It will make the install go much easier.

Download your map and bump up the rev limit while the PCIII is out of the bike now.

Not sure on your mechanical skill, but this is something that you could do after work...you don't need a whole day to do it.

This way, you have the day off to ride!

Maybe this is a given, but for me it wasn't. An O2 sensor wrench. I thought that I could just use a regular crescent, but it just wound up easier going to Auto Zone to rent the right tool. Otherwise it took me about 3 hours total to install everything.

The PCIII should have come with O2 eliminators which plug into the wire from the sensor. You leave them in the pipes.
