Ditto...mine are sittin' in my "parts room", they only had 12 miles put on 'em and are in mint condition. I'm keepin' them just in case some funky laws get passed...
My bike is stock except for Khrome Werks HP3 slip ons. My mint (5 miles on them) stock mufflers are in the box, ready to put on if the noise ***** insist.

alot of towns are inspecting now especially during the cruise nites.How do they check the decibels anyway. Is at the exhaust or like 10feet away at 2000rpms?
Last week I started making "art" out of my old mufflers. I went to the dealer to buy old take offs and they had them priced at $75 a pair for just the mufflers, I almost fell over.
