I have a set mounted to the forks of a 2000 superglide, they eliminate most all of the updraft air. Takes a while to get use to the looks.

I have them on my FXDF. Yes, takes a while to get used to the looks. They do help some, but i'm guessing that they would do a better job with the MS shield. I have the HD quick detach. I still get some buffeting, but I got used to it.

Have them on 05 superglide custom.. works great, cuts down on wind
