Here's my Bob ready for a trip. The angle of the photo and the leaning of the bike makes the sissy bar bag look like it's really leaning but it's actually only at a slight angle... same as the sissy bar.
here is my superglide ready for a run.with this set up, i am ready to camp for a week.
Dang, Stell, you've got some serious bungee work going on. Last time I packed like that was maaaaany years ago heading from the SF bay area to Tahoe. The gusts in the mountains made for a pretty scary ride.
well here is my set up, since i cant afford two bikes. but right now i still need my streetbike to apposed to a touring bike. later down the road i will get the cruiser but for now this is what i do. eveything is detachable and takes less then 5 minutes to attach everything. so the best part is when i get to my vacation spot or rally, i just detach it all and throw it in the tent and then i have my streetbike on vaction. and it only costed 150.00 total for the tourpak and the mount and it waterproof. i usally put a t-bag on top of the tourpak when the wife comes on vacation with me. jackyl
Here's mine-detachable pillion/luggage rack/sissy bar, detachable windshield, harley touring bags...not a fan of saddlebags on the Bob, so I passed on them. see attachment for the photo
Hugh
That tourpak looks like a pretty handy deal for that price. Waterproof?
that is one of the biggest reasons i went to the tourpak and quit using bags is because the bags are not waterproof and i have got stuck in some down poars more then a few times on trips. the tour pak is waterproof and has saved me now a couple times. jackyl
Jackyl is that your bike i the ebay ad?
That looks good - what is the quality like - I cannot believe the price, roughly 100 bucks for mount and pak....wow!
1) Do you have any more pics?
2) I know it show two helmets....but what kind of stuff for a tour/how long of a tour can you pack in that thing?
3) What is the quality like - material, paint, hinges, lock, and back rest??
Thanks for sharing!!
Randy

Jackyl....I'm thinking I'm going look into the set up you have, especially when it goes on and off so quick. It actually looks pretty good on your bike!!
In your picture with the bike set up for touring, I noticed you have the HD engine guard with forward controls. Are the forwards HD or Kury? The reason I'm asking is that I want to install the Kury forwards on my bike, but I'm not sure if they would interfere with the HD engine guard!!
