Any have the 3 inch forward extension kit on there dyna? I am 6'1 and just to tall for the dyna with forward controls. Short trips are fine but on long trip I get uncomfortable. I tried the Kuryakyn swingwing pegs and did not like them.
I'm 6'6", and I considered the extended forwards, but I just don't want to have my feet out that far all the time. So, I went with this solution: Kury highway peg mounts for forward controls. This way, I use my standard forward controls most of the time, but if I need to stretch, I put 'em out on the highway peg mounts. Very happy with the solution.

I am 6'2" with a 34" inseam. Here is another suggestion:
Kury offset peg extensions.
Work great for me. Gives me about 2" more reach and a wider stance and gets my knees off the A/C and horn cover.
I am 6' with a 33" inseam. I put 3" Kury ext. on mine 5 yrs ago. 98 models were a little different. What I did not like about the stock forwards is that my inner thighs would get tired of holding my legs in. It sure made a difference and with the heel rests gives you the option of moving your feet to different positions on a long ride.
Anyone have any pictures of the kit installed on a Fat Bob? I'm have a problem getting the new longer brake arm between the down pipe and the new forward extension bracket. A picture of this from the side and from the front would be great.
Thanks!
I have an 08 Fat Bob and had the same trouble with the brake rod until I mounted the footpeg bracket on the inside of the frame. Then everything goes together easily. Just make sure you use loctite. I'll try to get apic of what I'm talking about up for you.
By the way I'm 6'7" with a 38" inseam. The extra distance to the pegs makes it so much more comfortable.
