Sorry to bring this back but are there any 2 inch kits that fit a fat bob? The only thing different about newer dynas like the fb and older ones is the brake rod is longer on newer ones (02 and up i think). Looks like all the 2 inch kits out there use the old length rod. Im 6"0 and I think 3 inch might be too much.

It shouldnt matter. I have the older style forward controls on my 08 (got em off ebay) & I now have the kury 3" for the newer style brake on there. It works the same as my KC international 2"ers did before.
BTW KC international sells a nice 2" kit for like $60.
I tried putting an extension kit off an older bike on mine and the brake rod came up short. Laid it side by side and its pretty much the exact same length as my stock brake rod. How tall are you? Do u think 3" is too much for 6'0?
Any have the 3 inch forward extension kit on there dyna? I am 6'1 and just to tall for the dyna with forward controls. Short trips are fine but on long trip I get uncomfortable. I tried the Kuryakyn swingwing pegs and did not like them.
I have a 2012 Street Bob and I am 6-4. I got the forward controls installed from the dealer and it is nice for any type of riding. Just my opinion. I use a mustang seat too which sits you back and lower...
Yea I thought about just doing a seat. I kinda dont want to be any further from the bars though. Id want to try it out before I bought it and thats kind of impossible lol

i'm 6'3" with a 33" inseam & I have a C&C seat that sits me about 2 inches back. 3" is ok but i'd rather be further out. Stock forwards were stupid uncomfortable for me.
I have the 3" extended forward controls on my Street Bob. I like them alright, but at 6' I'm not sure if they're too long or not. If anybody has the standard Kury fowards and wants to trade them for my extended forwards, I'd be happy to work something out.
