I realize this is mostly a question of personal taste, but Id like to put some axle nut covers on my 09 Bobs front axle nuts. Its got those satin forks though and Im not too sure the chrome or billet covers arent going to look off against that satin fork. I sure wish they made Diamond Black axle nut covers Id pay the extra for them.
Ive still got my black axle nut covers from my Nightster that are supposed to be a fit. I know those would be a direct contrast, but I wonder if they might not look alright with the black wheels? Im thinking anything would be an improvement over the bare nuts.
I got mine made by loner industries <----(member of hdforums) he can custom make you a set and he does awesome work. I have some spikes on my bike check out the pic in my album.....
If you have items that are in the color you want in your garage, see if you can "attach" them somehow to your cycle and see how they look. If not, try photoshopping the color you want.
Yeah, I just noticed today that those fit my Bob too. I had them on my Nightster and haven’t sold them yet. I’ll probably put them on and roll with it. It ought to look cool with the black wheels anyway.
I really liked how the pivot covers, rear axle covers, and front axle covers tidied up the ole Nightster.
I picked up some black rear axle covers last night and I’ve been contemplating what to do to the front.
