My ears were ringing and I saw this thread and now I know why they were ringing. My bike was just finished and I must say bosken's bike played a major role in what I did with mine. I had a vision of what I wanted my bike to look like and bosken had already done it, he has been sooooo helpful in geting my bike to where it is now so bosken thanks again. The seat I am running does throw you back a little, a few times I was holding on for dear life but you cannot beat the look. Thanks again bosken and thanks for all the nice comments everyone. I will be doing a few other things in the near future like new tank badges, powdercoat the front heat shields, 23" front wheel and a few other small details.
yea, the pipe is a bassani 2 to 1 that i dechromed cuz i like the stainless megaphone loo a little better and should get around to pipewrapping the headers this weekend
Imjdoggie - i know exactly what ya mean about holding on with that seat, but yea, you cant beat the look or the price- why the hell do dynas have that bananaboat seat stock that goes over the tank? I never understood that. Are you planning on adapting that 7spokje mag to yer scoot? I want to find a pair of fxd 10 spokes and powdercoat em I think
Im gonna pick another ultima up and see if i can cover with some kinda kevlar material or something
should have some new pics to post of bike in a week or two

oh crap, i didnt read that right at first - imjdoggie where you comin up with a 23" wheel?!?!? cant tell from pick, is that a stock 09 black rim you have now or is that an aftermkt 21? you already have a home for it or.......id be interested - since i probably wont do the 10spoke mod for a while
oh wait, you got wide glide trees like Boskin dont ya?
aarrgh you guys are too cool - lol - ill have some mod pics soon
I always hear (like on this thread), "If I don't need it, I get rid of it", other than fenders (which actually are pretty useful if you ever leave the pavement) what does that mean on a dyna... I kept looking for ways to lighten up my low rider... but everything that could come off wasn't really a weight saver (belt guards, and the like), more about a look than a true minimalist approach. Once you hack off the back, it looks cool, and maybe looses you 10 lbs... (not much) you really loose the ability to haul things, including women...
If someone has gotten the wet weight of a Twin Cam Dyna under 400ilbs, I'd be mighty impressed and love to hear what you did.
