Default New mods finished.

I promise I will post pics soon. Many new mods to my 2009 FXDC dark blue pearl. I really like the way my bike rides with the Progressive 440 shocks! Much, much better than the stock shocks. I was worried that there would not be enough difference in the ride, to warrant the $, but I am very happy. I can't wait to change the front springs. I also added Rhinehart staggered pipes with an Arlen Ness Big Sucker AC and PCIII. Lots more power for sure. Much louder and a little popping when I decelerate, but not much. The new pegs, grips, highway pegs, and chrome front end look good. Still waiting for my Corbin Hollywood Solo saddle. I added new HD chrome AC cover, and still trying to decide if I like it. I like most of my changes so far, but I am not sure of the pegs and grips, I picked. Makes wonder how many people end up redoing the changes they make on their bikes.

You know you asked for it lol

I havent changed any of my mods yet but have thought about different pegs and grips. I like the looks but the grips are not the most comfortable.

Interesting. Did you have to do pay someone to do a custom map for the PC3? On the site, as soon as you key in Dyna 09 as the model they throw you over to the PC-V site, that has a grand total of just two maps available - one blank, and one all stock.

You'll love that seat, for a low profile seat it holds up way beyond my expectations on all day rides (about 500 miles).

Another question for you as well - The 440's -those are the Progressive 440 I.S.A shocks right? Can anyone give me more detail on just what the difference is like with those? Less road vibration etc? I ask because the wife is already complaining about 'buzz' and I don't want to return her to the dealer to get a new one just yet.

I had the dealer install the PCIII, they contacted the manufacturer for the map. I do not know any more, than this. I do wonder, if there is a better performance to be had, through another route.

The ride seems to be tighter, but still smoother. I rode a bad stretch of road, today, that is full of bad spots. My bike took this much better, than before, and seemed to be a much smoother ride, while still seeming tight. No jolts.
