Default Wind Screens

Hey yall I been looking around at windscreens. I have a 09 FXDC and the first mod I NEED to do is get a windscreen. I got to get some of the wind out of my face either that or go to a full face lid. I was just looking for feed back on what yall have installed maybe a pic of what it looks like. Thanks yall

Love the HD sporty screen. Small enough to not look old school, but still effective. I have the quick release mounts and only ride with in on long highway trips. Lots of options out there. Good luck!

This is my '07 FXDC with a Memphis Shades Rio Grande. This pic is a couple years old and the fork brackets are different now. The whole thing was/is around $150.

Buy a good full face, leave the windshields for the baggers.

I have HD's quick release on my 04 lowrider. On and off in seconds. It is a bit high for me but since I've put on the new headlight, I can just lower the position on the forks and drop it almost 4 inches. It's great in the cold and when my wife is on back. Once the snow melts, I'll get a few pics of it on with the new headlight.

When it's not on my bike, it's hanging on my wall.

I have a National Cycle deflector screen. It's pretty small, unobtrusive, infinitely adjustable, easily removed, and inexpensive (less than $100). I keeps the majority of the crap from the road off of me which is what I'm looking for. I've attached a couple of pics so that you can see how it looks.

I third that... kind of.

I'm not saying that windshields look bad, but they really don't look good either. Why not be safer with a full face helmet and still have a cooler looking ride? I can ride much longer with a quality fullface than an open face without getting wind fatigued. That being said, a windshield will ofer more wind protection. I want to pick up a Memphis shades Rio Grande so my wife will ride with me on a 900 mile trip...the windshield is a stipulation of hers.

I see the full face ***** are alive and well.

They are great for the track, on the street your hearing and sight are limited. No thanks

What ever happened to let the rider decide?

When I sold my Dyna, I kept the quick release, and mounted it on my Sporty. Last week I rode 100 miles without it, came home and snapped it back on.

I had a Memphis Shades Sport on it with a quick release. It looked cooler, but had a wee bit of buffeting.
