I have the Licks bag on my bike and I think it is perfect for what i need it to do. Although it may not be as big as the other bags on the market. It is just big enough to hold a sweatshirt, or a large bottle of snapple, cell phone, registration or other objects the I don't to stick in my pockets if I don't have to. Obviously the bag is lower to the ground than other bags, thats why i like it. It doesn't cover up my bike and is less noticeable. Even fully loaded, I have ground the chrome off my primary on the ground before the bag hit. The other bags on here are nice, but if i wanted saddle bags, I would have bought a bagger instead of a dyna.

Same here...most people never even notice my Lick's bag. The ones who have only had good things to say. It's low to the ground, but doesn't drag....I'd drag the mid pegs and even the primary before the bag would ever touch. It carries a spanner wrench, jiffy stand plate, registration/insurance, padlock, and there's still plenty of space for other small items. Basically anything I don't want in my pockets...stuff that needs to stay with the bike.
I bought one of the La Rosa bags for Softails and made it work on my Dyna. It attaches/detaches in about a minute with the mods I made to it and looks fine on the left side of the bike, just forward of the shock.
As others have said, it's big enough to carry the basics: extra glasses, maybe a light jacket, spare gloves, sunblock, etc. I guess for an overnight trip it could carry your shave kit and some clean shorts/socks.
It's no saddlebag but I like it for the fact it comes off quickly and doesn't make a Dyna try to be something it's not, which is what baggers are for.
