Default Tie down point

I don't plan on trailering much but I will have to on occasion. I have a 06 FXDI35. I bought a Baxley chock. I drove the bike into the chock and then started to look for some thing to tie to. I was looking for something up high in the mid to rear part of the Bike.
Not much luck, I even took the seat off hoping to get to the frame. There was one place under the seat near the shock but there are a lot of sharp edges on the chrome rail piece that is on the side of the fender. (back) I was afraid it would cut the soft tie. I would appreciate your help. Thanks !

Take a look at this link and hopefully it will help you out. Make sure you use good high quality tiedowns and straps and it's always best to be safe with extras in case one gives out you have a backup. Good Luck, mojo

The more straps the better in my opinion, I suggest to strap the bars and bring the suspension down half way then a strap at the rear (only needed so bike doesnt bounce around) then another 2 straps at the upper frame. Never had a prob doing it like this make sure the weight isnt on the kickstand and always check the straps each time you stop.
