Default Exhaust help...

Im bout to buy me some Vance and Hines exhaust. Do I just bolt them up and go? or do I have to re jet the carb or something else???

If they are the slip-ons, just bolt up and go.

What bike and year, and what model of V&H?

To get the most out of it you need sert and a open air filter=More power!

Yes, I agree... however if cash comes by in smaller amounts, you can do your pipes first.

The 09 is EFI and it'll most likely need a remap. I tried just exhaust with XIEDs (they richen the AFR) and had a lot of popping on the decel. You've got a lot of options with remapping...FuelPak, PCIII, SERT, TTS Mastertune......I went with Thunder-Max, which uses the closed loop setup and adjusts your setup the more you ride. The difference after adding the TMax is night and day....the bike runs better, sounds better, and the performance is great.

Installed Rush slip on's stage II air cleaner and had it remapped.
