Default Need your opinion please

I am contemplating a handlebar switch for my bike which is shown below in my signature. The only difference in my bike from the time the pic below was taken is that I have added a Lepera Bare Bones seat and a 1" under stock kickstand. I want to go with some 14" or 16" apes, and am thinking about the Carlini Gangster apes, along with braided cables, and internal wiring.

Please give me your opinions on how this would look. Cool, or crap....thanks

I think apes would look badass.
I would go with a more tradtional style ape over the Carlini gangtsters though.
Those bars don't do it for me.

I agree with Jay. Apes would look killer.. I don't really like those carlini's unless there on a heritage, deluxe, and those softail models. Not sure why, but it fits those bikes better. I say go with some narrow, tall apes, like nash gimps or something. But, thats my opinion. I'm sure Carlini's would look sick as well, I've just never seen them on a Dyna for some reason.

X2 on the apes.

X2 on the traditional apes over the carlini gangsters.

It is what you think is cool, not what others think. It is your ride do what you want and like. If you care what others think about your bike you should let them tell you what bike you should have, where you should ride and when you can ride.

Thanks guys... I will look into regular apes as well as the Carlini Ganster apes then. I am doing this mod for myself as I have had the semi pullbacks for 10 years now, and am tired of leaning forward. They need to be just a bit further back, although with my instrument cluster on my dash panel, I would have to go higher with the risers to achieve more of a pullback. With the ape hanger look, I can rock them forward and backward depending on my mood.

Wow man I would rock the hell out of your bike, I'm ditching my 12" Gimps for drag bars in the next couple of weeks. You could always get some pullback risers.

Thank you, next winter I am changing the cam out and a bit of motor work to make it more of a ground pounder and increase the performance of the evo. Just finishing up my cosmetic details before getting into that. I am losing the signal lights in the rear and going with some swingarm mounted L.E.D. lights, and also a side mounted plate and tail light and having the rear fender filled, smoothed and painted.

Why not try some Lowrider pull back risers with your current bars?
