If you are using mid-glide width trees, you can lace a 21" drop center rim to your hub using Sportster type spokes. It will fit with no changes to fender or brakes (as long as you are now not using the 10 spoke HD cast wheel).
Hey John:
I'm using the mid-glide trees like those that came on my SG - but using ones with a 5 degree rake. I have a 19" laced wheel from Harley and just wondering if there was anything other than the tire and wheel that would have to be replaced.
How are your new tins? I bet they look incredible in the direct sunlight. I'll send some pics when the front end work is done and the tins are installed.

Mud, I may have asked this of you before but are you running a 120/70? Starting the upgrade and want to make sure I get a tire that fits. I was looking at the 120/70. I saw on another thread something about reduced rubber on twisties causing a problem. Have you seen any with yours?
"bigmikaele"... correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the person who posted that one would have reduced rubber on twisties was referring to a 21 X 2.15... not a rim with a 120 on it.
i just got my rim in the mail last week and just need to delace a 21 X 2.15 rim to use the hub, obviously... i gotta order some spokes from HDwheels as well.... will post pics when i'm done

Thanks, I figured out, the 120/70 will fit the 21 x 3.25" rim I just bought and it all should fit under the stock fender...

Reason: rim size is actually 3.25" not 3.5"
