I say call the dealer and have them pick the bike up.. They should be willing to accomedate you see as it will most likely be a warranty issue no??

You bet they should. My dealer would come get it but not all dealers will. However, that said, I would want to know what the oil level was beforethe dealer got it back just to make sure they don't cover up a serious mistake that they might have made.

I have heard of guys who get their bike back after service and the engine is a quart low. One guy posted his trans was low. The only reason I can think of for this guys trans running "hot" is either the reassembly was too tight or the tech shorted the amount of oil he put back in after the repair or put the wrong oil back in. If you run these gears with too little lubrication you will get a "whiner" because it will over wear the gear face geometries and cause the gearsets to whine. Once that happens the only fix is a new trans. That's why using gear oil versus motor oil in the trans is such a big issue with a lot of mechanics. JMO

i dont belive this is the tranny but the primary chain you let off and give it gas again its the tension on the chain thats wut i think anyway?

Everytime I see this thread on the main Dyna page I think it must be for a guy who accidentally picked up a hooker with a package while riding his new bike.
