Gold leaf
Anybody got any gold leaf work done on their bike?? Thinking about putting some on the new Fat Bob, think it would look good on the wide fenders against the vivid black. If you got any pics that would be great. Also does anyone know if it is difficult to take care of?
never done it on my bob but i did do it on a cafe a few years back... got the flake from online... and then later again at hobby lobby or something like that (it was by the frames and pictures) super easy to do man... for real! there are a ton of how to vid's on you tube, walks you right though it... bear in mind i cleared over all the work i did, (rattle can at the time) came out great. i plan on doing a 22 on the side covers for my cafe in the leafing... when i get to that point i can do a video/pics for you if you would like? it will not be for a few weeks though.

I have no idea how to do tit but I have gold leaf style in my tank logo from the MoCo. I love it.
SORRY, I just looked at the pics in my post and they are horrible. Just looks gold, you cant see the leaf effect. I'll try to get ya a better pic.

It looks like gold leaf, but its hard to capture in a photo. Here's an 07 below, also the 08 Sreamin Eagle bikes have it (the root beer colored ones).

yup the 08 SE anniv. Bike has a gold leaf look going on..see mine below before I picked her up
