Mobil 1 20/50 in engine, Mobil 75/90 in tranny, and formula + in primary.
I've heard a lot of good things about the B&M trickshift in the tranny though.... think I wanna give that a shot and see how that feels. Anyone use that here?

I have not had any shifting, clutch or other problems. I have asked this question as well. I read the Amsoil white paper on motorcycle oil and after not seeing a clear winner, I decided to use HD Synthetic in the motor and will put it in the primary and tranny when the next change is due. I think the important thing is to use a quality synthetic in the motor because of the increased heat protection. I unless your having another issue, its not as critical in the other two holes.
only! 20w50 synthetic all 3 boxes. make sure you get v twin formulated for wet clutch. many choices with those parameters. amsoil, moble1 etc all very good. i get the moblie 1 v twin 20w50 in stock at auto zone chain. $10.00/qt. also some auto zone stock the k/n oil filters in chrome(k171c) for about $11.00. these filters hav the nut on the end and easy to remove. if they dont have them in stock they will order and have the next day. i switched from the amsoil because it was hard to get and more expensive. after switching to the mobile 1, i feel engine is quieter warm and clutch feel is better. remember oil wts, brands intervals and types of oil are very subjective by nature and many opinions on this subject. my decision is based on much research, availability and price/quality. in other words, value
