On the 06 Dyna, or any harley for that matter - is there a quick turn throttle available? I'm used to the 1/4 turn type, and with the harley I sometimes have to "regrip" the throttle, as the turn from barely open to wide open is a long one. I would guess there might be a wider diameter trottle sleeve that still fits in the stock Harley right side housing, or possibly it might take a different assembly at the other end?
I did search the archives and found nothing.
It has finally been warm enough to ride in Chicagoland, so I did a quick 100 mile day last weekend, and the FXDI35 is just great so far.
hey john, you might just want to adjust the accel and decel cables at the grip.... i was having the same problem, and i took up the slack on both ends and now it's nice and tight....no regripping
