Leaky Front Brake Master Cylinder
I noticed today that my front brake master cylinder is leaking on my 07 LR. I was just curious if anyone else had a problem like this. It is leaking around the gasket and running down to the brake line connection. Of course the fluid ate the paint off the brake line connection. I thought it was awful strange that is was leaking from the top, anyone have any ideas?? Going to the stealer on tuesday, hopefully it will be covered under the warranty.

I have had mine replaced under warranty 2 or 3 times next time iam letting it eat the paint off and going chrome when they change it. They will fix it up should replace the whole unit if paint is gone and your under warranty. Once it eats my paint iam going to have them put on the chrome and ill pay the difference in cost from chrome to black.

Mine did the same thing, except I caught it before it did any damage. I talked to the Indy here and he said it was pretty common. I didnt feel like dealing with the local dealer and wanted a chrome cover anyway so just got it from the Indy.
