Default FXD SuperGlide key issue

I have an 07 FXD Superglide. Love the bike, but don't like the key switch, particularly having to leave the key in while riding (makes a key chain problematic, solo key too easy to misplace).

Any ideas?

thx

greg

Cheap and easy fix is get a metal key ring and put a small magnet by the the ignition to keep it from flopping in the wind.

Personally I just use a solo key.

I got a guard dawg in the mail today and hope to install it this weekend. It's a little pricey but if it works like everyone says it will be a great addition.

Two key rings, one for bike(solo), one for everything else, not a big deal.

I've been looking into doing the switch on the dash mod.

Not sure if this does work so try at your own risk

I read somewhere if you grind the little nipple off the key it can then be removed while in the run postion.

Again no idea if it does atcually work.
