Spike Grips? - - Anyone have any
I am getting some new grips soon and I like the look of the grips with spike ends. Do any of you have any? If so could you please post pics and give me the brand..

I like spikes, for grips for pegs and so on. But I have seen one thing that makes me think twice about getting spike grips. A buddy was working on his bike that had spike grips on and bent over to grab a tool that feel, and as he came up his head came into contact with his all aluminum spike grips. To save the obvious details, it took 12 stiches to close the wound. If that is not enough, he did it again 2 months later with a not so bad outcome, well at least for his head, the grips on the other hand found the jig saw and became sveral pieces. While it was kinda funny, I now own rounded end all aluminum grips. Just a thought for ya.
