My wife has a1200L,and wants to upgrade to a Dyna Low,but its just a bit too high, how easy is it to lower it.
She sat on an 09 Dyna Low and could make it work, but just a bit lower would be nice.
Thanks
easy... you can bolt on progressive lowering shocks (used around 200) and some drop in front springs (about 150)
350 she will be flat footed brother!
all easy mods you can knock out yourself
I got a 2008 low rider and I installed 1" shorter Progressive 430's and their lower spring kit in the front. You will have to shorten your kick stand or take the chance on it falling over. You can either shorten the stock stand or I purchased a replacement through J&P Cycles that worked just great.
My wife is 5'2" and can sit on the seat flat footed. The Progressive suspension was a really big emprovement to the stock suspension also.
She will fit no problem after about 500 bucks and 2 hrs time. Put some 11" shocks in the back and drop ins up front. My wife like the Harley reach seat which moved her down and forward. Both the springs are shocks take about 2 hrs, if you drink and enjoy hanging out in the garage, if you have a jack. About 1 hr if it's cold and you would rather be sitting on the couch.
