Default Front turn sigs relocation

Some were on this site I saw a bike with the front sig's relocated to the forward control frame mounts. I'd like to do this but I don't know how to take the bulb socket out so that I can get a longer bolt and a nut on there. Any ideas?

There is a thick rubber grommet which houses the bulb socket. This grommet will simply pull out of the housing. Then it just presses back in. There are aligment indexes molded in the rubber for proper positioning when reinstalling.

Thats it. The chrome plastic socket housing covers a lot of the rubber. You will see it when you get the first one out.
