New Apes
Picked up some new 16 inch chubby apes for my Wide Glide yesterday at a swap meet, going to look great! Now have to get the new cables etc.......any suggestions on measuring out the new lenghts I would need? I see alot of cables that I could just order 6 inches + over stock, which is basically what I am doing, have 10 inch apes now.
Also, any good places that have eletrical extension paks?

There are so many variables when trying to find the correct wiring extensions. For example, I replaced my stock 10" apes with Wild 1 Chubbies 10" apes and needed almost 10' extensions! How can that be? Well, they have a much wider base and are wider end to end. Dont know what bars you got but these are things to consider. I got HD extensions, they have connectors on both ends so it's a simple hook-up. Cost about $12 each. As far as cables go, My bars were 4' wider at the grips than my stock bars so I went with 2' over on all the cables and they fit perfect. Good luck, Your bike is gonna look great with those 16's!

Got the eletrical extension done, used my own wire and made the splices inside the bars.......everything works Getting ready to pick up my new cables and hopefully will have it done this afternoon, at least most of the way

Okay, here is what I have so far, gotta little more to due, fluids, bleed brakes, make sure all is tight
