AND...STREETS OF FIRE...are you using the stock STEM for your headlight? Can you raise it enough?
Mine is stock and the light BARELY fits against the Frame and seems to be pointed down ever so slightly. I did a light alignment and it seemed like it pointed high enough but I wanna be sure.
Mine's an 04 so I had the top mounted headlight that attached to the ugly eyelid. I bought a headlight stem for a duece on ebay to get enough clearance away from the frame. I can raise up and down as much as I want with this one. I have 2 others stems that I picked up and didn't work out. If you want to see them PM me and I'll send you pictures to see if you think it will work. If it does just pay for shipping and it's yours.

I am looking for a similar light for my 04 LR, is it the Cobra II? Also do you know if an HID system will fit inside it?
Thanks... bit I fear I'd have the same results you had.
I'll grab a deuce stem!!! Thanks for the input.
I bought it off of eBay... It was called a Duece / Springer style mount. $20 range. I then had to tap the hole as it was blank. All in all it was a pain in the *** but it looks so much better than it did with the stock light.
