Heres the questions. What do you do to secure the strap on the stock seat? It is a pain. Any trick? Does it have to be bolted to the frame? Can you just leave it off? I'm asking because I like to take my seat off to clean the bike. Kills my hands getting the seat off and on. Just no room.
I have two in a box, I need to just throw them away but I'm a parts ***** and just can't do it.
+1 on that. Took the box my Tallboy seat came in and threw the strap back in it and the one from the stock 2-up seat. Until there's an easier way to remove and install them to swap seats, they'll stay in the box.
I don't have the strap anymore, just didn't look right on my sundowner.... but I had no problem in getting the seat on and off with the strap on. Pretty similar procedure to what Sammi described.
