Ash - The cables were ordered 6" over stock from Barnett. All fit good, except the clutch cable seems a little long. I didn't use the extended wiring kits. A buddy of mine cut the plugs off the wiring harness and soldered short lengths of wire in.
But Ill try 2 try - These were the pipes made for forward controls. The ones they make for mid controls will fit with forward controls. The pipes for the mid control have a different bend(which IMO looks a little odd) also, I think another difference is that the pipes for mid controls, the pipe coming from the front is the outside pipe and with the pipes for the forward controls the pipe coming from the rear cylinder is the outside pipe. I had never noticed that, but it said something about it in the installation instructions. As far as performance, the sound bad as hell(IMO), the bike goes in to the Harley shop Wednesday to get checked out and put on the Dyno and I'll update then with HP, etc. I also have the 95" kit so I'm hoping for some good numbers.
Love those black bassani's. The apes are great too. THe turn signals lok sweet. I assume they are what is hanging from the bars, right? Now the only thing left to do is ride the damn thing.
USBP Desert Fox - The air cleaner is the Harley Nostalgic "Bar & Shield" Air Cleaner (P/N: 29138-91)
Fripple - I wish that I had a way to make a sound clip, because they do really sound good. The girlfriend was gone this weekend when I put them on, she came home last night. The first thing this morning I was like you got to come hear them. I fired it up in the garage and she was like holy s**t, that's loud. I said, "YES!", But she said that she really likes the sound and loves the look, but I still didn't tell her what I paid for them. lol
