Low fuel light?

Low fuel light?
We just installed flush mount popup gas caps, disconnected fuel guage plug, cant get low light to go off, three wires, black yellow, orange,..... Tried every combo with no luck, any info will be appreciated, thank you

Send a member named WS6 Formula a PM. He replaced the gauges on his 06 FXDL and ran into issues with the low fuel light. I know he did a lot of research and work trying to fix the issues. I don't know what he came up with to resolve them, but am sure he can help you out. He has because very familiar with the fuel gauge's wiring and circuitry.
