I don't know if I would trust a guy that is rolling down the highway at 1000 rpms on a Harley though. Would be a good mod to prevent theft one hit of the throttle and probably into a wall.
Is it really that big of deal to turn the throttle??
The guy in the video makes it seem so dramatic. I can't say I've ever had to instantly go full throttle, just shift down and go if you need the extra RPMs.
Can't say I've ever been cruising at 75 and instantly had to go 100.

It IS an issue for me. I have to reposition my grip on the throttle or use my fingertips to roll the throttle full open just like his video showed. I like to "play" on the bike and trying to hit the throttle full open quickly is a PIA. The stock throttle has way too much turn for "spirited" riding IMO.
So, curious me... went out to check the throttle on my bike.... whaddya know, it's already a 1/4 turn.... .
Have fun with it! My thoughts are unless you have a really incredible engine build on these bikes, the extra throttle "response" on a basically stock bike is not going to give you anything. Not like you think you might get, and especially when comparing it to hi-reving rice grinder.
Just my thoughts, do what makes you happy.. that's what these bikes are all about
