IMHO... gloss everything and add the belt pulley to the list. If the chrome switch can't be powdercoated then sand down and paint with gloss black epoxy appliance paint.
to many blacks looks crazy on a bike... looks like fleabay helped you to get all your parts... i keep it simple when i do my powder jobs... your bike already has a wrinkle black (motor and primary) as well as the vivid on your tins... i would keep wiht those... it starts to look crazy after that... if you insist on doing a flat black do a semi gloss 40% that will help to tie is in a bit and be a good medium... here is a pic of some lowers i did for a buddy of mine... this is a 40% semi gloss black... nice looking powder and it is slowly becoming one of my favorites to use
I personally would go with a painted dash in gloss black. And powder coat your list in gloss black. IMO. But do what you want it is your bike that what makes it yours.
My 02 FXD is vivid black with a semi-gloss black center "dash". Keep in mind I have the gas cap top center then below it is the fuel gage. Looks okay by me.
I ran into a guy with a blacked out 07 FLHX. He was pretty close to what JRK has with those lowers. He had done the whole bike, including exhaust, with the exception of chrome switches, gas cap, Smaller or maybe medium sized chrome Harley Davidson on the tank, all the nuts and bolts were chrome. The inspection plates were stock chrome. I liked it so did my wife.
