It is hard to believe they came out that good, those rims are sweet. I know what you mean about justifying expensive work on the bike. I think I have an addiction and I need some sort of support group to help me curb it... probably won't find that here Maybe I can say that I am helping the economy with my spending Anyway. I need the 21x3.25 rim so my options are limited. But maybe I can wait a bit... was that long enough

I'm thinking having the same tread pattern would be a good thing ...far as the same wheel..nah shouldn't matter.

Those wheels came off of a forum member's 07 FXD. They are at chrome pros right now being chromed. The picture I posted is actually a set that chrome pros did and had for sale on ebay. They've had my rims for about a month now. I asked them the other day about them and the manager told me they are completely stripping the chrome and redoing the back wheel because of some pin holes they found in and around the spokes. Attention to detail and quality like that is worth waiting for.

I paid $200 for the wheels and will pay $550 for the chroming including shipping. I am selling my spokes for $100 so that's a net of $650. I'm also doing polished rotors and chrome bolts covers and spacers but I would add those with any new rims so I don't include the cost of those when comparing against the cost of brand new, aftermarket rims.

Sometimes, you can find people here that will trade even spokes for mags and that makes it an even better deal. But I didn't want my bike down while making a swap so it was worth a couple hundred to me to buy the wheels with no trade.

Oh, and yes, they will fit an 07 Streetbob.

With any tire combination, It's said to be very important that the speed ratings are the same.
