Default Tube question
I'm about to get new tires. Do the tubes need to be replaced as well?

I think I would if I ran tube tires. Just curious; why do you run tubes? Old fashioned spoked wheels or something?

I was under the impression that spoked wheels require tubes. Is that not the case? For the record the bike is an 08 train with stock front wheel and an 18" DNA spoked wheel in the rear.

yes spoked wheels require tubes

After a little "googling" I see that most spoke wheels require tubes but some don't. Tubes are just a PITA IMO.

I'll usually replace the tubes with every tire change. They're not that expensive even from a Harley dealer. Most dealers.

Local dealer wont swap a tire without a new tube. Adds 18 bucks.
