You should try hiding your mods when you have both a wife and girlfriend. What one misses the other one always seems to pick up on. I have been stock piling up some new additions for the spring roll out but has been really cold here the last few weeks in VA. Plus I always seem to have a business trip when the weather turns warm. Only a few more weeks till spring. At least the calendar say that but maybe not the weather.

so i guess if my boat is nothing more than a hole in the water in which to throw money, the scoot will be a pothole in the road to throw money? Hopefully I get to start throwin into the pothole in less than two weeks and counting. BTW , I have always snuck new stuff in through the grudge and when questioned act like its been there "for long time", you dont remember when I bought that?

When I bought my '09 Street Bob two months ago, I assured my wife that it would remain stock EXCEPT for V&H big radius pipes, FuelPak, and Arlen Ness air cleaner. You know the rest of the story. I decided the pipes would look lots better with forward controls, so I bought/installed those. Didn't have most of the tools I needed, so I was soon on a first-name basis with the local NAPA dealer. Then, I couldn't make the FuelPak fit under the seat with all that @#!&*$ factory security system garbage under there, so I had to have the Screamin' Eagle Pro Race Tuner. (Guess I'll try to sell the unused FuelPak on the classifieds once I'm eligible, since the folks who sold it to me want to charge a 25% "restocking" fee--wotta racket!) Finally, when I tried to install the Arlen Ness A/C, I discovered they'd sent the unit that fits FLX (not FXDB), which does not match up with the throttle body. Had to run to the dealer for a SE Heavy Breather. (Guess I'll try to sell the unused A/C with scalloped cover on the classifieds... same deal on the restocking fee.)

Yada yada yada!

I live in fear that one day she'll sell all my "stuff" for what I told her I paid for it. Snowbaords, fly rods, motorcycle parts, you name it....$20 a piece.

As my wife says, "the bike is just the down payment." I don't know that she accepts it, but atleast she acknowledges it.

My wife is kinda use to it! After all these years doing motorcross and breaking parts every time i ride or up gradeing this or that its kinda of a relief that im not on the track as often as i use to be. So shes happy when i go ride my bob cause she knows i cant come home and say "Well i need another set of bars! Came up short on a jump today and bent them pretty bad". If I come home with something bent or broken thats the least of my worries as to the condition Ill be in!!!

I vowed to keep mine stock but I've had my '09 Dyna less than a tankfull of fuel and bought the first mod. today. The stock seat was killing my back so ordered up a Mustang wide studded solo seat and backrest, then bought a fender bib to go with. I'm screwed now, broke ground to become out of control. Well at least I'm not throwing money into a boat
