I think we'll all always remember that day. Congrats on the new scoot. I picked mine up on a decent day in November of 06 but I was ill equipped for the cold ride home. I messed around the store too long and it started to get dark and cold. I hadn't planned on actually taking delivery that day so I went unprepared. I had on a long sleeved shirt and a hoodie style pullover and that was it. When I got home, my hands were shivering so much I could barely get the key in the lock to open the door. And, like you, the grin was frozen on my face - literally.

Congrats on the new bike! How is the riding over there in September? I'll be there for a couple of weeks, and I am looking into possibly renting while I'm there, if they don't mind my US ID, and my habit for driving on the right side of the road!

Thanks to all the congrats,

rstew3 if you are coming over you need to come for the last weekend of August as we have a "Thunder in the Glen" meet with over 1200 harleys. What a view for the ride outs on brilliant quiet roads with fantastic views. Here's a link for the chapter who organise the event http://www.dunedinhog.com/
