BTW checked out the website for WBVMC , I'm Retired Air Force...(I Know Not real Military)
Dude, my dad was career Air Force. Went in as a mechanic, then ten years in SAC as a Gunner, one tour of Viet Nam, finished his career as a Flight Enginerr in MAC. So, I have no problem w/the Air Force but I am being all I can be as an Army of One.
I'll take some pics of my foot boards tonight and post them.
Look Forward to Seeing them, Also Just had Lunch on the run today and stopped By a VERY Large Harley dealership with some REAL Parts Guys.. Heres the scoop, Harley Part Numbers 49349-07 (BLACK) or 49279-06 (Chrome) will Fit if Your running an Aftermarket exhuast They wont fit with the Stock Pipes.. They suggested Kuryakyn ISO Wings ($99) With My Stock Pipes But I think I'm still going to get the Black Brackets and have someone Massage them for Me..

Chances are the boards will fit but you will not have the required clearance for when the pipe moves with the engine. What I would do is measure the clearance between factory passenger peg and exhaust to give you their recommended clearance. Then install the boards and measure again. the difference is how much of a shim spacer you would then need to insert between the peg mount and swingarm to get back to factory spec. Depending on the length of your riders legs, raising the mounts may not be acceptable!
Thanks But If Thats Your Bike in the Picture its NOT an FXDF "Fat BoB" , Looks More like a Dyna Custom..
The Problem is the Brackets I have found in the Catalog & on Line all Say (Except FXDF)
Never noticed they didn't fit the Fat Bob. I already had mine before I saw the black ones in the catalog so I didn't look that close. Good luck with the project.
SuperG, nothing new yet. Still fooling around with the little stuff. I'm to the point of prep and paint and still don't have a color picked out yet. Should be some progress soon.
