The biggest difference that swayed my choice (FXD) was the motor color. Everything else can easily, and most likely would, be changed by the owner.

You are right about the threads, seemed like there were 3 or 4 in short oder comparing those bikes. My first thought was to suggest using the compare models on the Harley site but I didn't want to be a jerk.

Just refer to mine as a Harley. Anybody that knows Harleys won't ask what it is and all anybody who does have to ask needs to know is that it is a Harley. Just my .02
