Default Need A Little Help...

I decided to replace my HD stage 1 intake with the "old style" round HD stage 1 intake. Here's my dilema...I don't have the proper tools or the skills to cut out the center football cover to use for a cover and have the filter exposed.

If I buy a wrinkle black footbal cover, is there anyone willing to cut the center out for me? Of course I'm willing to pay for your services thru paypal...for your labor as well as the cost of shipping it back to me.

My plan is to have it in wrinkle black with the SE black/orange ring in it....the exact same set up as Bosken. Sorry to copycat you Bosken..., but that's the look I want.

I prefer to have someone that's done this mod several times before, cuz I want it done right with no flat spots around the edges.... And someone that's in the lower 48 states so the postage won't kill me.

I think Mud has done this mod many times and has it down perfectly...hey Mud, if you see this and have the time to do it, I'll gladly pay for your services.

Thanks in advance for anyone with the skills (and tools)....I'm not willing to mess up a cover tryin' to do this myself...

That or check with your local dealer. They have some nice round air cleaner covers. I picked mine up for 25. They had some in powder also.

DC, I think you're just seeing the 1/8" of wrinkle black
that remains on the 07 and 08 footballs.

Might be the AC itself, you can see the ribs when looking straight on at it.
