I painted the battery band black. Much better. I cannot figure why HD put something like that in aluminum where it shows. Start with the band and if it is not enough then do the cover. GL. How many coats of paint and clear?

Very cool color. I think some of that middle chrome should be color matched too.....excellent.

Nice job. Unique color. It looks great. Set apart from the herd. Might try wrinkle black on the covers for contrast.
