Default ? about seats

Hi! I am new to the motorcycle scene and have a question about seats for my 09' superglide custom. My problem is I need a seat that scoots my short **** forward a bit so I can reach my forward controls a bit more comfortably but would like to have a removable passenger seat so I can enloy the look of a solo seat when the honey stays at home. Is there anything available that fits my needs? Or am I stuck with the reach seat? Any help greatly appreciated

I noticed the Street Bob seat moved me forward a little bit compared to the stock seat that came with my custom. I don't know if our seats are similar or not with mine being an 06.

I havent seen any reach seats that are solo but you could get a stock solo from a SG or Bob and some one like Mean City rework it to fit your needs.

If not Lepera makes a Upfront Siloutte (SP), Its a 2-up but I think it looks better than the Harley reach seat.

Mustang makes 2-up seats where the back pillion is detachable. I don't know how they position you though. Call them up, they are happy to help. www.mustangseats.com or 800-243-1392 or 800-582-9633.

I have the LePera silhouette and it looks great on my FXRP but my problem with it is after an hour of riding my tush was killing me. My girlfriend's too. She said she preferred her old seat to this one and she used to ride on bare sheet metal if that says anything. Great for around town, crap for anything longer.
