Have mine about half way through, atleast that is what I tell myself. Tank swap, 10" T-bar, Kuryakyn Forwards, newly painted tins. Starting on engine mods, exhuast and fuel pak next on the list. Have been asked why I didnt buy a different model if all I was going to do was change everything on the original and my answer was, The amount of knowledge gained on doing it yourself is worth the price you pay in parts. Besides wrenching on her, is almost as fun as riding her. LOL

Same here. I get asked "Why didn't you just buy a wide glide?" They just don't understand.

+1.....I've gotten the same thing. Just do what you want. I would have loved to have had a Wide Glide, but they were all sold out, and my superglide was given to me at a steal of a deal....so I ran with it, and built it my way...much like what you are doing!

P.S. The bike looks fantastic, IMHO.

VERY nice bike, man. My advice, if I may.....take you're time, sit and look at it alot, and do it YOUR way.

I'm glad this isn't a contest and I'm a judge. It would be very hard to choose a winner. They all look soooo good.

Much appreciated.

The chair in the background is for sitting and looking at it.

Joe: Thanks ...

Another photo 'dressed'

Without fairing and lowers:

Don't know if you saw my powdercoat post ... put up some photos of my gloss black wheels/pulley; my apes are now gloss black, as are the 'fork tins' and the rear fender struts ....

I shot my tank and fenders 'platinum bronze' ... (coincidentally, the color is almost a match to the MoCo's 'smokey gold') ...

Hope to get it back together and show some photos of it this weekend ... just got back to homeport after a few days at sea ....
