Default Electrical Problems ?? HELP!!!!!

I have a 99 dyna glide super sport (FXDX) and I have been doing a bunch of wiring on my bike lately. I am replacing all the handlebar wiring, headlight, turn signals, etc. Everything was working withnwired the handlebar stuff... I then I was wiring my poweroutlet and accidently crossed the wires while they were hot. I know.. first disconnect the battery.... I blew the fuse on the power let cord and now I get nothing........ no lights, turn signals, etc. When I turn on the ignition, I only get clicking on the circuit breaker. I checked all the fuses and they are good.... What could be going wrong?????

Please help!!!! I want to ride!!!!

How did you wire in your aux. power cord, direct to battery or through fuse box? From what you wrote it almost had to be wired through the fuse box. What is your battery voltage now? If was wired through the fuse box are you 100 % sure all fuses are good, best to check them with a light tester vs a ohm meter. Almost sounds like a main fuse popped not one of those tiny ultra mini fuses. If voltage is good between 12.4 and 14.5 volts and all your fuses are good. Then one has to check voltages throughout the system to find the open part. I would start at the battery to the fuse box etc till a open is found.

Good luck and hope your riding soon again.

Check the battery for voltage across the posts, then get a new circuit breaker, not that expensive. You said all the fuses were good, this was verified by pulling them out and looking at the wire? The circuit breaker is wired in between the ign.switch and the battery allowing power to the switch and to all the circuits when the switch is turned on.

i would bank circuit breaker as well... only thing is sometimes when you run hot like that you can burn though a spot in the wire, that can end up shorting on you... you have a wire tester scott? if not pick one up right there at harbor freight... you can check to see where you power is and is not gettng
