Brake question
After reinstalling my wheels my brakes feel weakerthan before, I cleaned them with degreaser and a Brillo pad, I didn't know if that would have made them slicker for a while or if I should adjust them or something... What do u think?
A degreaser shouldn't have done any harm. It should all evaporate. You could always try spraying brake cleaner (another degreaser, but made for brakes) on it, but I don't think that would be necessary....

Did you remove your brake line from the caliper? To drop my rear wheel you have to remove brake line, drop caliper and all at the same time thats why i ask...if so bleed the brakes. If not, i would do what is suggested above and use some break clean, it will evaporate and leave a clean surface.
Mine did the same thing last week when I had the wheels off for new tires. Went away after a few rides, and I did nothing in the way of cleaning either the pads or rotors...give it a few rides and see if it doesn't heal itself.
Brakleen only....degreaser will leave a residue. If it still persists bleed them & brakleen again. Never use a brillo pad on brakes (fine sandpaper & then brakleen) brillo has a soap in it.
Did I mention to use some brakleen?

i was going to post a thread about this but ill just add it on to this, over the winter i put new bars and new cables and lines on my bike and had to do a bunch of other ****,and had heard harley brakes were a b!tch to bleed so i decided to worry about it later. without touching them after 3 days of riding i grabbed my front brakes and to my amazement, i had full solid brakes, so i guess the best way to bleed your brkes(fronts any way), is gravity.
