Would you ever . . . . .
I agree. Call me narrow minded or whatever, but there are some things in life that are supposed to look and feel a certain way. My mind has a certain image/concept of what a Harley is supposed to be. VRods do not fit in that picture. Even if money was no object, I would never have one of these.
I realize there is a market for them. And to each their own. But I consider the VRod blasphemous to the Harley name. In short, I hate it.

Ditto! My feelings exactly. I feel the same way about a RKC or StreetGlide as well. Love to have any of them but I'm not giving up my bike to get one.
I really like the looks of the Night Rod, but the riding position is not for me. The drag bars just have me too stretched out. I guess my arms are not long enough for it. I rode a standard V-Rod and liked it much better. If money were no object, I would love to have the standard V-Rod for a second bike, but there are several other Harleys I would choose ahead of it.
As for the Muscle I'm not a fan of it. To each their own, but I think it's ugly.

My brother has a 2002 V-Rod ... first year. All silver bike, very nice ... I like 'em alright, but not enough to jump ship from FXD lineup ....
Dig that ol' shovelhead, though ....

Saddle over to this pony if money was no object ??If not why and if you would state reasons..I know people say it's not a real Harley but IMO it is as it has the name on it and rolls out the same factory.. + point I'd give it is it looks so damn mean.. - point is you can't do much to it to make it your own like a Dyna.....first thig I'd do would be to throw away the headlamp fairing..old habits die hard lol..
