Saddle over to this pony if money was no object ??If not why and if you would state reasons..I know people say it's not a real Harley but IMO it is as it has the name on it and rolls out the same factory.. + point I'd give it is it looks so damn mean.. - point is you can't do much to it to make it your own like a Dyna.....first thig I'd do would be to throw away the headlamp fairing..old habits die hard lol..
Looks cool, but it also is nothing great to RIDE.... I think most of us are of us prefer cruisers and the VROD is far from one.... Not comfortable to ride at all...But yeah If they were giving me one and promising me I wouldn't have to pay taxes on it, I would take it....And then trade it in on another bike...
I like the V-rod, especially the Muscle, but I'd rather have my Street Bob. I won't be in the market for a V-Rod until HD ups the displacement to at least 90 cubic inches.
I'd take the Muscle in a heartbeat. In fact looking hard at one but doubt I'll get one right now. Too attached to the ones I have. Won't get one until I can have one for the weekend to try out. Need to know it will be comfortable all day. I rode the silver v-rod in 2003. Fun to ride but got uncomfortable in a short amount of time. When I ride, I ride for long periods of time. That's why the bikes I have are perfect for me. Only v-rod I would consider getting is the Muscle.

Also not my style, and, IMHO, plain ugly and not really 'Harley' (if that makes any sense), but no matter what, it all boils down to personal choice. There is no right or wrong to owning the bike *you* buy.
Nope 'cause I'd kill myself on it...damn near did that on my kid's crotch-rocket. I love the "mellow, easy-going" look and feel of my Wide Glide and I know its limitations. Speed is not my style because I tend to be stupid about it and stupid = dead...
